Newsletter Bot Legal
Last updated: April 4, 2026. This policy explains what Newsletter Bot stores, why it is needed, and how users and server owners can request changes or deletion.
This policy applies to Newsletter Bot use in Discord servers and direct interactions with bot commands. It does not apply to Discord itself or third-party websites linked in posted news stories.
Stored data is used only to operate the bot: posting grouped stories, applying channel rules, supporting role pings, powering user preferences, and maintaining source quality controls.
Data is retained while the bot is actively used. Removing the bot from a server or requesting deletion through support starts the cleanup process for associated configuration records.
Some technical logs may be retained briefly for reliability and abuse prevention, then removed on normal rotation.
Access to stored bot data is restricted to authorized maintainers for operations and debugging. Reasonable security controls are used to protect bot systems, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
This policy may be updated as product features evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
